Terry, 25, is 6-foot-9 and last played in the NBA in the 2018-19 season, when he appeared in one game with the Heat. He also appeared in two games for the Suns that year.
He currently has been playing for the Stockton Kings of the G League, Sacramento’s affiliate. With Stockton, Terry is averaging 11.4 points and 8.3 rebounds, as well as serving as a solid rim-protector.
Suns forward Jae Crowder and guard Elfrid Payton have both entered health and safety protocols, as has coach Monty Williams, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
