The Thunder have waived shooting guard Rob Edwards to cut the roster to 19, the team announced in a press release.
Edwards, 24, is 6-foot-5 and went undrafted out of Arizona State in 2019. He spent the first two years of his college career at Cleveland State.
He signed a nonguaranteed one-year contract with the Thunder in September, and now stands a good chance to land with the OKC Blue, the Thunder’s affiliate in the G League.
“Oklahoma City now has 13 players on guaranteed contracts, one with a partial guarantee, three on non-guaranteed deals, and a pair on two-way pacts,” noted Luke Adams of Hoops Rumors.
