The Thunder have signed small forward Jaylen Hoard to a Exhibit 10 training camp contract, according to Joe Mussatto of the Oklahoman.
Hoard, 22, is 6-foot-8 and appeared in 19 games with the Thunder last season, averaging 6.1 points and 3.4 rebounds. He also played 13 games with the Trail Blazers as a rookie in 2019-20 after going undrafted out of Wake Forest.
Along with his time in the NBA, Hoard served stints in the G League with the Texas Legends and OKC Blue.
Given the Exhibit 10 language in his contract, he is likely to again end up with the Blue and be eligible for a $50,000 bonus if he remains on the roster for at least 60 days.
On Monday, the Thunder waived shooting guard Rob Edwards, clearing the way for the Hoard signing.
