The Thunder have waived forward Marquese Chriss, point guard Trey Burke and guard/forward David Nwaba, the team announced in a press release.
All three players were acquired from the Rockets as part of multi-player deal. Chriss underwent knee surgery in June, and he and Burke were first traded from the Rockets to Mavericks in the Christian Wood deal.
Chriss, 24, is 6-foot-9 and appeared in 34 games after first signing a 10-day deal, then for the remainder of the season in January.
The No. 8 overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft, Chriss also spent time with the Suns, Rockets, Cavaliers and Warriors before signing on with the Mavericks.
Burke, 29, is 6-0 and averaged 5.1 points in 42 games with the Mavs last season, his second stint with the club. He has also spent time with the Jazz, Wizards, Knicks and 76ers since being selected with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2013 draft.
Nwaba, 29, is 6-5 and averaged 5.1 points and 3.3 rebounds in 46 games with the Rockets last season. He has also spent time with the Nets, Cavaliers, Bulls and Lakers.
