Heat guard Victor Oladipo has been practicing from time to time with the G League’s Sioux Falls Skyforce, but it’s still hard to say when he might return to the Heat.
“There’s nothing imminent right now” when it coms to the return of Oladipo, or forward Markieff Morris, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said.
Oladipo has missed the entire season with a leg injury that he continues to rehabilitate and strengthen. Morris suffered whiplash during a scrap with Nuggets center Nikola Jokic in November and hasn’t played since. Morris has a history of neck issues and the incident seemed to make it worse.
“Spoelstra described both players as ‘doing a lot’ in practices, but declined to give specifics,” RealGM wrote. “He also said that there continues to be no timetable for a return for either Oladipo or Morris.”
