The Trail Blazers have signed rookie shooting guard Jared Rhoden, the team announced in a press release.
Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, Rhoden is receiving a training camp contract, meaning he will get an opportunity to battle for a roster spot.
Rhoden, 22, is 6-foot-6 and went undrafted out of Seton Hall, where he averaged 15.5 points and 6.7 rebounds last season as a senior.
He then appeared in eight summer league games with the Kings, compiling averages of 10.6 points and 5.1 boards overall in runs in San Francisco and Las Vegas.
The Trail Blazers currently have 15 players under contract, but do have an open two-way slot. So Rhoden likely will be fighting for the latter.
