The trail Blazers have signed shooting guard Skylar Mays to a 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.
Mays, 25, is 6-foot-4 and has played for the Mexico City Capitanes and Delaware Blue Coats of the G League this season, averaging 14.1 points 5.1 assists and 3.7 rebounds.
Originally drafted by the Hawks with the No. 50 overall pick in 2020, Mays has appeared in 61 games, all with the Hawks, over two seasons. He went to training camp with the 76ers in October but was waived before the season.
With the Trail Blazers concluding another disappointing season, this is the time to audition players who may have a future with the franchise, even at just the minor-league level.
