Heat guard Tyler Herro has been ruled out for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals vs. the Celtics with a quad injury, coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters.
Herro was seen with a wrap on the leg during the Heat’s Game 3 win in Boston. He went just 4-of-15 shooting for the game. It is not known yet when he might return, though the injury doesn’t appear to be serious.
Meanwhile, small forward Jimmy Butler is expected to return after missing most of the second half of Game 3 with right knee inflammation.
Spoelstra said Butler will warm up before the game with the intention of playing. He is averaging 29.8 points in the playoffs.
The Heat lead the series, 2-1, with Game 4 slated for Monday night at 8:30 EST in Boston.
