Former NBA shooting guard O.J. Mayo has signed with Russian club UNICS Kazan, the team announced.
Mayo, 33, is 6-foot-5 and was selected with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2008 draft. He has spent time with the Grizzlies, Mavericks and Bucks, but has not appeared in an NBA game since the 2015-16 season.
He carries NBA career averages of 13.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists.

Mayo has spent the past several seasons playing in Puerto Rico, China and Taiwan. This will mark his first stint with a European club.
Mayo was initially drafted by the Timberwolves, but quickly traded to the Grizzlies in a deal that also involved Kevin Love, Antoine Walker and Mike Miller.
