A video showing Warriors forward Draymond Green punching teammate Jordan Poole has been posted by TMZ Sports, with Green responding to a shove from Poole at practice.
The incident began with the two trash talking, followed by Poole pushing Green in the chest. Green then throws multiple punches and connects.

Warriors GM Bob Myers told reporters he doesn’t expect Green to be suspended for the incident.
“He’s been over that line. But he always comes back,” Myers said, via Mark Medina of NBA.com. “He’s a unique guy. He helps us win.”
Warriors guard Steph Curry also addressed the situation when speaking to reporters.
“There’s nothing that warranted the situation,” Curry said. “I want to make that clear. It’s also something we feel like will not derail our season and what we’re trying to build. That’s with Draymond a part of that.”
Meanwhile, coach Steve Kerr shot down rumors that Poole came to camp with an “attitude” after a breakout season last year.
“Someone put out there that Jordan had an attitude during camp — that couldn’t be further from the truth,” Kerr said, via ESPN’s Kendra Andrews.
Green, 32, has a $27.6 million player option for 2023-24, meaning he could potentially test free agency in July. He has said that he is not expecting the Warriors to offer him an extension during the season.

If they’re not going to trade DG after that they’re going to need to let Poole go ahead and punch him back in the face. Sit Draymond down in a chair. Put a blindfold. Leave him for a while so he doesn’t expect it. Then Poole can wake him up with a good punch to the face. Only then can the true healing can begin.
