The Warriors have waived veteran guard Avery Bradley, along with three others, the team announced.
Bradley, 30, is 6-foot-3 and appeared in 27 total games with the Rockets and Heat last season. He played for the Lakers in 2019-20 prior to opting out of the season ahead of the Orlando bubble (and LA’s title run).
During that season, Bradley averaged 8.6 points and 2.3 rebounds, and continued to offer strong perimeter defense while playing both guard positions.
Along with Bradley, the Warriors waived guards Gary Payton II and Mychal Mulder, and veteran center/forward Jordan Bell.
Payton and Mulder could end up with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League, while the Bradley ad Bell stand a chance to land on another NBA roster before or during the season.
