The Warriors are trading center James Wiseman to the Pistons, who will send forward Saddiq Bey to the Hawks ahead of Thursday’s deadline, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Atlanta will ship five second-round picks to the Warriors as part of the deal, Wojnarowski added.
Wiseman, a former No. 3 overall pick, suffered injuries and inconsistency early in his career and never really fit in with Golden State. He will get a fresh opportunity with the rebuilding Pistons, who have an eye on a playoff push next season.
Bey is in his third year with the Pistons and averaging 14.8 points and 4.7 rebounds in 30 games.
