Steph Curry and the defending champion Warriors will face LeBron James and the Lakers to open the 2022-23 NBA season on Oct. 18, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The game will be televised by TNT and will feature the Warriors’ championship ring ceremony, Charania added.
As we relayed earlier via Marc Stein of The Stein Line, the Lakers are expected to face Luka Doncic and the Mavericks on Christmas Day. Dallas, of course, advanced to the Western Conference finals before being eliminated by the Warriors.
While the full NBA schedule isn’t expected to be released until later this month, perhaps the final week even, we are beginning to see a few leaks.
