The Warriors made a pair of roster moves Sunday, signing Tyler Burton to an Exhibit 10 contract and waiving Miles Kelly.
Golden State added Burton after previously acquiring his G League rights in a trade between the Santa Cruz Warriors and Memphis Hustle.
The 26-year-old forward appeared in 12 games for the Grizzlies last season, averaging 10.8 points and 4.2 rebounds in 25.6 minutes per game.
Burton also spent time in the G League and now has a path to Santa Cruz if he doesn’t make the NBA roster.
The move came after the Warriors waived Kelly, who had been in camp on an Exhibit 10 deal.
Kelly played three preseason games for Golden State and had his best showing Wednesday against Portland, finishing with 24 points, seven rebounds, six assists and six 3-pointers in 28 minutes off the bench.
Because of the Exhibit 10 structure, Kelly can earn a bonus worth up to $91,000 if he spends at least 60 days with Santa Cruz.
