Warriors forward Draymond Green is moving in a “positive direction” after missing the previous 12 games with a lower back/disc injury, the team said in a press release.
Green will miss more time, though, as the Warriors will re-evaluate him ahead of the All-Star break later this month. The All-Star Game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 20 in Cleveland.
Green recently underwent re-examination. “The examination indicated that Green is making steps in a positive direction and the injury is improving,” the release read.
Green, 31, is 6-foot-6 and is averaging 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.4 assists in 34 games. The Warriors (38-13) sat in second place in the Western Conference entering Wednesday’s road game vs. the Spurs.
