The Warriors have officially signed center Omer Yurtseven to a 10-day contract, the team announced. The deal runs through March 24 and will cover Golden State’s next six games.

Yurtseven, 27, has been playing for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Houston Rockets’ G League affiliate. In three games there this month, he averaged 23.0 points, 13.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks.

The Turkish big man previously appeared in 113 NBA games with the Heat and Jazz from 2021-24.

Golden State has been hit hard by injuries, with Jimmy Butler and Stephen Curry both sidelined since January. Several others have also missed time, including Moses Moody, Al Horford and Seth Curry.

As a three-year veteran, Yurtseven will earn $136,717 during the 10-day deal while carrying a cap hit of $131,970.
