The Warriors have re-signed guard Gary Payton II and added him to their opening night roster, the team announced.
He was among four cuts by the Warriors last week, but will be available immediately, coach Steve Kerr told reporters.
Payton, 28, is 6-foot-3 and plays everywhere from point guard to small forward. He appeared in 10 games with the Warriors after a pair of 10-day contracts and standard deal last season, averaging 2.5 points.
He also spent time with the Wizards, Lakers and Bucks, as well as Raptors 905, the South Bay Lakers, Wisconsin Herd, Capital City Go Go and Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League.
Payton is the son of NBA legend Gary Payton.
