The Warriors have signed free agent shooting guard Quinndary Weatherspoon to a training camp contract, the team announced in a press release
Weatherspoon, 25, is 6-foot-3 and appeared in 31 games with the over the last two seasons. He has also spent plenty of time with the Austin Spurs of the G League. The Spurs selected him in the second round (No. 49 overall) of the 2019 draft.
Weatherspoon carries NBA career averages of 1.9 points and 41 percent shooting.
The Warriors’ roster is currently at 20 players. While Weatherspoon is a long shot to make Golden State’s final roster, he has likely earned himself a spot with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League.
