The Warriors are signing guard Pat Spencer to an Exhibit 10 contract, agents Keith Glass and Luke Glass told JD Shaw of Hoops Rumors.
Spencer, 26, is 6-foot-3 and spent last season with the Capital City Go-Go, the Wizards’ G League affiliate. He then played for the Wizards’ summer team in Las Vegas.
Exhibit 10 contracts count toward the offseason 20-man roster, but not toward the regular roster unless a player is signed to a two-way or standard deal.
Spencer is most likely headed for a contract with the Warriors’ G League affiliate in Santa Cruz, though you never know what might happen in training camp.
