Warriors’ Stephen Curry Announces He Won’t Play In Game 5 Against Timberwolves

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry won’t play in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Curry suffered a Grade 1 left hamstring strain in Game 1 and has been out ever since.

Curry is averaging 22.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists in the 2025 playoffs while shooting 47.7% from the field, 40.0% from 3 and 89.3% from the foul line.

The Warriors beat the Houston Rockets in the first round in seven games.

This is the first time in Curry’s career that he’s dealt with a hamstring injury. The two-time MVP and four-time champion is 37 years old.
