The Warriors are still waiting on Stephen Curry.

Curry said during an in-game interview Saturday night that it will be “a little longer” before he returns from a persistent right knee issue. He has not yet resumed on-court work.

“This is a weird one,” Curry said, via ESPN’s Anthony Slater. “It’s kind of unpredictable how it’ll heal.”

The Warriors fell 129-101 to the Lakers, marking Curry’s 10th straight missed game. The team has listed the injury as patellofemoral pain syndrome, commonly known as runner’s knee.

Golden State initially hoped Curry could return shortly after the All-Star break, but he experienced a setback during a workout and was shut down from court activity for 10 days.

“It’s about each day, can you stack good days?” Curry said. “Once I get back on the court, it’s a little bit of a pain tolerance thing. But it’s just something you don’t want lingering.”

The Warriors are 31-29 and holding the eighth seed in the West.

With Jimmy Butler out for the season with a torn ACL and Kristaps Porzingis recently sidelined by illness, Golden State’s margin clearly remains thin as the postseason approaches.
