The Warriors intend to sign guard Lester Quinones to a 10-day contract, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Quinones, 22, is 6-foot-5 and is has been playing for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League, averaging 22.0 points a game.
He went undrafted in 2022, but signed a two-way contract with Golden State in July of that year. The Warriors released him several months later, but he went immediately to Santa Cruz, where he spent all of last season and the majority of this one.
Quinones, who played his college ball at Memphis, averaged 17.4 points and 4.8 rebounds, shooting 49 percent from the field, in the G League last season.
With star guard Steph Curry still sidelined with a left leg injury, Quinones may get an opportunity to play with Golden State.
