The Warriors have waived guards Jerome Robinson and Pat Spencer, the team announced in a press release.
Robinson, 25, is a 6-foot-4 shooting guard who once originally selected by the Clippers with the No. 13 selection in the 2018 NBA Draft. It’s been a rocky NBA road since, though, as he’s appeared in just 113 games in three seasons, including the final two with the Wizards.
He signed with the Warriors in early September, with the news memorably being broken by NFL insider Adam Schefter. Robinson appeared in three preseason games.
Spencer, 26, is 6-3 and spent last season with the Capital City Go-Go, the Wizards’ G League affiliate. He then played for the Wizards’ summer team in Las Vegas.
Both players could very well be headed for the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State’s affiliate in the G League.
