The Warriors have waived guard Quinndary Weatherspoon and shooting guard Lester Quinones, the team announced in a press release.
Weatherspoon, 25, is 6-foot-3 initially signed a 10-day deal with the Warriors last season before inking a two-way contract in January. He appeared in 11 games last season and averaged 2.7 points and 1.2 rebounds.
Along with that, he appeared in four preseason games, compiling averages of 4.5 points and 1.5 boards. The No. 49 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Weatherspoon spent the two seasons prior to last with the Spurs. He has also played for the Austin Spurs and Santa Cruz Warriors of te G League.
Quinones, 21, is 6-5 and went undrafted out of Memphis this past June. He played for the Warriors in summer league, before signing a two-way contract. He then appeared in two preseason games and averaged 5.0 points.
The Warriors now have both two-way spots available, with Monday being the deadline to set their roster for the regular season.
