• The Mavericks need star guard Luka Doncic to push through when he’s not getting the calls he thinks he deserves, wrote Dalton Trigg of SI.com.

Warriors

• Coach Steve Kerr said he intends to keep guard Jordan Poole in the starting lineup in place of center Kevon Looney for now, per Monte Poole of NBC Sports of Bay Area.
• That leaves small forward Andrew Wiggins as the tallest player in the starting lineup at 6-foot-7, Poole added.
