Jazz coach Will Hardy appeared to reach a breaking point during Sunday’s 131-101 home loss to the Thunder, a game Oklahoma City won easily despite missing MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Midway through the night, Hardy lit into his team in a video that quickly spread across social media, yelling, “I’m tired of f–king doing this every game. F–king play harder,” according to footage captured by Jazz writer Kato Pariña.

The moment became a flashpoint in what has been another uneven stretch for Utah.

The Thunder overwhelmed the Jazz in the paint and from the perimeter, outscoring them 45-20 in the first quarter and finishing with 21 made threes. It was Utah’s second straight lopsided loss after falling 146-112 to the Knicks on Friday.

At 8-15, the Jazz remain on a rebuild-heavy timeline and are tracking toward a third straight year outside the playoff picture. Lauri Markkanen missed Sunday’s game due to illness, but Utah’s issues run deeper.

Hardy, now in his fourth season and still seeking his first postseason berth, has leaned on young pieces while the franchise retools after the Donovan MitchellRudy Gobert era.

There are bright spots. Keyonte George has taken a notable third-year leap, and rookie Ace Bailey continues to show progress. But with the Jazz sitting eighth in the early lottery projections and holding roughly a 35 percent chance at the 2026 No. 1 pick, frustrations — and expectations — are shifting.

Sunday’s outburst made that clear.
