Kispert, who’s entering his second NBA season, suffered the injury when stepping on an opponent’s foot during a Wizards’ preseason game against the Warriors in Japan.
He appeared in 77 games as a rookie, averaging 8.2 points and 2.7 rebounds and coming on strong in the season’s second half.
The Wizards selected him with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. He is expected to be part of a wing rotation that starts with Bradley Beal, and also includes the likes of newcomer Will Barton and Deni Avdija.
