The Heat and Suns are in serious talks with the Wizards on a trade for shooting guard Bradley Beal, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Washington has opened conversations in Beal under new team president Michael Winger, who may be looking to reset the roster.
Beal has also been linked to the Bucks and Kings, though those teams don’t appear to be as involved as the Suns and Heat — each of whom have already been active this offseason.
Sources have told Hoops Wire that Beal remains open to returning to Washington, as he continues to hold the organization in high regard. But clearly, he is also open to exploring other options.
Beal is still owed more than $207 million on his contract, which lasts through the 2026-27 season. He is represented by agent Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports.
Hoops Wire will have more on this story as the news becomes available.
