Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma has entered the NBA health and safety protocol, as relayed by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Kuzma, 26, is averaging 13.4 points and 8.3 rebounds in 26 games. He is in his first season in Washington after being part of the Russell Westbrook trade with the Lakers.
Per league rules, Kuzma will either need to miss at least 10 days or return to negative tests in a 24-hour span.
The Wizards (15-11) have lost four of six entering Saturday’s game vs. the Jazz.
