The Wizards have officially signed guard/forward Quenton Jackson and guard Davion Mintz to training camp contracts.
Both players are rookie free agents after going undrafted. They likely received non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 deals, something Mintz’s agents confirmed to JD Shaw of Hoops Rumors.
Jackson, 21, is 6-5 and was at Texas A&M for three years, averaging 14.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 40 games this past season.
Mintz, 23, is 6-foot-3 and spent one season at Kentucky after three years at Creighton. He averaged 11.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 35 games in 2021-22.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a contract that counts toward the offseason roster limit of 20, but does not count toward the salary cap unless the player makes the team. The Wizards’ roster now stands at 19 with training camp to tip off Sept. 24.
