The Washington Wizards have signed shooting guard Hamidou Diallo to a 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.
Diallo, 25, is 6-foot-5 and signed a training camp deal with the Wizards in October, only to be waived a couple days later. He spent each of his previous two-plus seasons with the Detroit Pistons after playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder during his first season-and-a-half in the NBA.
Overall, he has appeared in 263 games and carries averages of 8.6 points. 3.8 rebounds and 49 percent shooting.
The No. 45 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Diallo has spent the season with the Capital City Go-Go of the G League, averaging 18.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.7 in 20 games.
The Wizards waived guard Ryan Rollins on Monday, creating room for Diallo.
