The Wizards have signed rookie shooting guard Quenton Jackson to a two-way contract, the team announced in a press release.
Jackson is 6-foot-5 and has been playing for the Capital City Go-Go of the G League, the Wizards’ affiliate. In 32 games with Capital City, he is averaging 12.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists and shooting 49 percent from the floor.
Jackson went unselected in the 2022 NBA Draft and then signed with the Wizards for training camp. So this marks his first official NBA contract.
In the last 17 games with the Go-Go, he has increased his production to the tune of 14.6 points on 51 percent shooting, to go with 3.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists.
