Wisconsin guard and Big Ten Player of the Year Johnny Davis will take part in a pre-draft workout with the Wizards on Thursday, per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Davis is 6-foot-5 and declared for the draft following his sophomore season. Most respected mock drafts have him falling the Nos. 7-10 range. The Wizards own the No. 10 overall selection (as well as the No. 56).
While Davis may not drop all the way to 10, if the Wizards are interested in trading up, it seems like the possibility exists. Both the Trail Blazers (No. 7) and Pelicans (No. 8) could be eyeing a move either down or out of their current spots, as we relayed previously.
Davis averaged 19.7 points and 8.2 rebounds in 31 games with the Badgers this past season, shooting 43 percent from the field.
The NBA Draft will be held Thursday, June 23.
