The Wizards have waived guard Chase Audige, per the NBA transactions log.
Audige is 6-foot-4 and went undrafted out of Northwestern this past summer. He then signed on with the Heat for Summer League, appearing in five games and averaging averaging 5.4 points and 1.2 steals.
The Wizards signed him to an Exhibit 10 deal for training came late last month.
As a senior at Northwestern last season, Audige compiled averages of 14.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
An Exhibit 10 contract counts toward the preseason roster of 21, but not toward the regular-season roster. Should Audige end up with the G League’s Capital City Go-Go he will be eligible for a $75,000 bonus after 60 days.
