Here’s our 2022 NBA Draft Tracker. We’ll be posting each draft selection here as soon as it’s available, along with profiles of the prospects, so be sure to check back for the latest.

2022 NBA Draft Tracker

1. Orlando Magic: Duke PF Paolo Banchero

Banchero, 19, is 6-foot-10 and spent one season at Duke, averaging 17.2 points and 7.8 rebounds in 39 games. 

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Julius Randle. His father Mario played football at then University of Washington.

Banchero did not work out for Orlando prior to the draft.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Rare combination of size and offensive polish. Operates with ease from all spots on the floor. Outstanding range, touch and handle. Very good passer and playmaker for his size.

2. Oklahoma City Thunder: Gonzaga C/F Chet Holmgren

Holmgren, 19, is 7-foot-0 and spent one season at Gonzaga, averaging 14.1 points and 9.9 rebounds in 32 games. 

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Kristaps Porzingis.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Unique combination of length and skill. Elite defender with incredible shot-blocking instincts. Comfortable handling the ball in the open floor. Highly competitive and engaged at both ends of the court.”

3. Houston Rockets: Auburn PF Jabari Smith Jr.

Smith, 19, is 6-foot-10 and spent one season at Auburn, averaging 16.9 points and 7.4 rebounds in 34 games. 

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Chris Bosh and Rashard Lewis. 

Smith is the son of former NBA big man Jabari Smith and cousin of former No. 1 overall pick Kwame Brown. 

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Elite combination of size and shooting ability. High release point, soft touch and superb shot preparation. Highly versatile and switchable defender with quick feet. Strong work ethic and intangibles.”

4. Sacramento Kings: Iowa F Keegan Murray

Murray, 21, is 6-foot-8 and spent two seasons at Iowa, averaging 23.5 points and 8.7 rebounds in 35 games in 2021-22.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Michael Porter Jr. and Otto Porter Jr. The Kings attempted to trade the pick, but no longer plan to do so.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Highly skilled and efficient forward. Outstanding shooter with deep range and quick release. Can rebound and push the ball in transition. Smart defender and active rebounder at both ends of the court.”

5. Detroit Pistons: Purdue G Jaden Ivey

Ivey, 20, is 6-foot-4 and spent two seasons at Iowa, averaging 17.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 36 games in 2021-22.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Donovan Mitchell and Anthony Edwards.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Dynamic combo guard with elite athleticism. Excels at changing speeds in the open floor. Exceptional length and lateral quickness. Has shown improvement as a shooter and playmaker.”

6. Indiana Pacers: Arizona G/F Bennedict Mathurin

Mathurin, 20, is 6-foot-6 and spent two seasons at Arizona, averaging 17.7 points and 5.6 rebounds in 27 games in 2021-22.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to former Clippers swingman Quentin Richardson.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Athletic wing with a diverse offensive game. Confident shooter with terrific mechanics. Explosive in transition and finishes through contact. Continues to improve as a ball handler and passer.”

7. Portland Trail Blazers: Kentucky SG Shaedon Sharpe

Sharpe, 19, is 6-foot-5 and spent one season at Kentucky as a redshirt freshman. He has impressed during pre-draft workouts.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to JR Smith, who won a championship with the Cavaliers in 2016.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Elite combination of size, length, fluidity and scoring ability. NBA-ready shooter with terrific mechanics. Plays with tremendous balance and body control. Adept at creating space for his shot.”

8. New Orleans Pelicans (via Lakers): G League Ignite SG Dyson Daniels

Daniels, 19, is 6-foot-7 and spent one season with the Ignite, averaging 11.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 14 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to current Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon. Daniels’ father Ricky played professionally in Australia.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Versatile wing with great size and a mature game. Multi-position defender with active hands and good instincts. Willing passer; has good vision and keeps the ball moving. Shows potential as a spot-up shooter.”

9. San Antonio Spurs: Baylor F Jeremy Sochan

Sochan, 19, is 6-foot-9 and spent one season at Baylor, averaging 9.2 points and 6.4 rebounds in 30 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to current Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma, meaning expectations are fairly high.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Playmaking forward with good size and agility. Plays with great energy and competitiveness. Solid ball handler and passer for his size. Highly versatile defender with a good nose for the ball.”

10. Washington Wizards: Wisconsin SG Johnny Davis

Davis, 20, is 6-foot-5 and spent two seasons at Wisconsin, averaging 19.7 points and 8.2 rebounds in 31 games in 2021-22.

He is the son of former NBA player Mark Davis and has drawn NBA comparisons to current Wizards shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Physical wing with a versatile skill set. Plays the game in attack mode at both ends of the court. Makes good reads in pick-and-roll situations. Confident mid-range scorer; posts up smaller guards.”

11. New York Knicks: New Zealand SF Ousmane Dieng

Dieng, 18, is 6-foot-9 and spent this past season playing professionally in Australia with the New Zealand Breakers, averaging 8.9 points and 3.2 rebounds.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Nic Batum and Kyle Anderson.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Highly skilled forward with playmaking potential. Fluid athlete with a great combination of size and length. Shows major promise as a ball handler and pick-and-roll creator. Guard-like agility allows him to defend multiple position.”

12. Oklahoma City Thunder (via Clippers): Santa Clara G/F Jalen Williams

Williams, 21, is 6-foot-6 and spent three seasons at Santa Clara, averaging 18.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 2021-22.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Spurs wing Josh Primo and has a 7-2 wingspan. Williams is the first player from Santa Clara drafted since former NBA MVP and current Nets coach Steve Nash.

NBADraft.net wrote: “A bulky wing with a great frame and ball-handling skills to work as a secondary ball-handler and initiator.”

13. Charlotte Hornets: Memphis C Jalen Duren

Duren, 18, is 6-foot-11 and spent one season at Memphis, averaging 12.0 points and 8.1 rebounds in 29 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to veteran center Andre Drummond.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Outstanding physical profile for a modern big man. Long, powerful and quick off the floor. Elite rim protector and aggressive finisher around the basket. Shows flashes of creativity as a passer.”

14. Cleveland Cavaliers: Kansas G/F Ochai Agbaji

Agbaji, 22, is 6-foot-6 and spent all four college seasons at Kansas, averaging 18.8 points and 5.1 rebounds in 39 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to former Warriors draft pick Kelenna Azubuike and current Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Prototypical size, length and athleticism for an NBA wing. Dynamic shooter with deep range and excellent mechanics. Ball-handling and passing skills have improved. Highly effective defender; guards multiple positions.”

15. Charlotte Hornets (via Pelicans): Duke C Mark Williams

Williams, 20, is 7-foot-1 and spent two seasons at Duke, averaging 11.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in 39 games ins 2021-22.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Erick Dampier and current Rockets center Clint Capela.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “High-level rim protector with tremendous length. Runs the floor exceptionally well for his size. Very good offensive rebounder and finisher around the basket. Has shown flashes of skill and touch in the post.”

16. Atlanta Hawks: Duke SF AJ Griffin

Griffin, 18, is 6-foot-6 and spent one season at Duke, averaging 10.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in 39 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Buddy Hield and is the son of Raptors assistant coach and ex-NBA forward Adrian Griffin.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Impressive physical profile for an NBA wing. Strong frame with terrific length; plays bigger than his height. Knockdown shooter from distance and mid-range. Versatile and impactful defender.”

17. Houston Rockets: LSU PF Tari Eason

Eason, 19, is 6-foot-8 and spent two seasons at LSU, averaging 16.9 points and 6.6 rebounds in 2021-22.

He is said to be capable of handling either forward position and has drawn NBA comparisons to Marcus Morris.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “All-purpose forward with excellent strength and athleticism. Intense competitor who fills up the box score. Will rebound and push the ball in transition. Incredibly active defender with great instincts.”

18. Chicago Bulls: Arizona SG Dalen Terry

Terry, 19, is 6-foot-7 and spent one season at Arizona, averaging 8.0 points and 3.9 assists in 37 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to former Warriors and Raptors guard Patrick McCaw, and some to current Clippers wing Rodney Hood.

He finished second in the Pac-12 and 11th nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.84 to 1), and increased his averages to 12.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists in postseason tournament play.

19. Minnesota Timberwolves: Wake Forest SF Jake LaRavia

LaRavia, 20, is 6-foot-8 and spent one season at Wake Forest, averaging 14.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 33 games.

He is said to be capable of playing both forward spots and has drawn NBA comparisons to Matt Harpring and Linus Kleiza. He spent the first two seasons of his college career at Indiana State.

NBA Draft Room wrote that LaRavia “isn’t a plus athlete in terms of speed and vertical but has a lot of strength and power. Has good length and broad shoulders, which helps him hold his own in the lane.”

20. San Antonio Spurs (via Raptors): Ohio State SG Malaki Branham

Branham, 19, is 6-foot-5 and spent one season at Ohio State, averaging 13.7 points and 3.6 rebounds in 32 games.

He attended Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary, the same high school that produced LeBron James, and has drawn NBA comparisons to Bucks forward Khris Middleton.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Versatile guard with a smooth offensive game. Long and rangy; has three-level scoring potential. Capable shooter from deep and mid-range. Has the size and length to be an impactful defender.”

21. Denver Nuggets: Kansas SF Christian Braun

Braun, 21, is 6-foot-7 and spent three seasons at Kansas, averaging 14.1 points and 6.5 rebounds in 40 games in 2021-22.

He was named second team All-Big 12 as a junior and has drawn NBA comparisons to former Cavaliers guard Craig Ehlo.

22. Memphis Grizzlies (via Jazz): Auburn C Walker Kessler

Kessler, 20, is 7-foot-1 and spent one season at Auburn, averaging just 11.4 points and 8.8 rebounds in 34 games. 

He spent his first college season at North Carolina, and has drawn NBA comparisons to Cole Aldridge and Myles Turner.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Intriguing combination of size, skill and agility. Shows great timing and instincts as a shot blocker. Very good finisher around the rim; has pick-and-pop potential. Plays with a high motor at both ends of the court.”

23. Philadelphia 76ers (Nets deferred pick to 2023): Colorado State F David Roddy

Roddy, 21, is 6-foot-8 and spent one season at Colorado State, averaging 19.2 points and 7.5 rebounds in 31 games.

This pick has been traded to the Grizzlies, along with veteran guard Danny Green.

24. Milwaukee Bucks: G League Ignite G/F MarJon Beauchamp

Beauchamp, 20, is 6-foot-6 and spent one season with the Ignite, averaging 15.7 points and 6.4 rebounds in 21 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to James Anderson and MarShon Brooks.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Rangy and athletic wing with a versatile game. Opportunistic scorer; flourishes in transition. Multi-position defender with tremendous length and feet. Has a nice feel as a passer and playmaker.”

25. San Antonio Spurs (via Celtics): Notre Dame SG Blake Wesley

Wesley, 19, is 6-foot-4 and spent one season at Notre Dame, averaging 14.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in 35 games.

He has also shown an ability to play point guard and has drawn NBA comparisons to former Knicks wing Latrell Sprewell.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Long, shifty and athletic scoring guard. Excels at creating separation off the dribble. Confident mid-range jump shooter with good mechanics. Has the physical tools to be solid defender.”

26. Houston Rockets: Duke SF Wendell Moore

Moore, 19, is 6-foot-5 and spent three seasons at Duke, averaging 13.4 points and 5.3 rebounds in 39 games in 2021-22.

He won the Julius Erving Award this past season as college basketball’s best small forward.

27. Miami Heat: Serbia SF Nikola Jovic

Jovic, 19, is 6-foot-11 and spent this past season with European club Mega Basket, averaging 11.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 35 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to former NBA forwards such as Billy Owens and Tom Chambers. NBA Draft Room calls him “a very rich and fast man’s Dario Saric.”

NBA Draft Room also wrote that “Jovic has point-forward skills and can lead the fast break and initiate the offense in the half court. He’s really crafty with the dribble and has impressive handles for a young player his size.”

28. Golden State Warriors: Milwaukee G/F Patrick Baldwin Jr.

Baldwin, 19, spent one season at UW-Milwaukee, averaging 12.1 points and 5.8 rebounds in an injury-shortened season of 11 games.

He was ranked the No. 5 prospect coming out of high school by ESPN.

29. Houston Rockets: Kentucky PG TyTy Washington Jr.

Washington, 20, is 6-foot-3 and spent one season at Kentucky, averaging 12.5 points, 3.9 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 31 games.

He chose to wear No. 3 with the Wildcats in honor of former 76ers star Allen Iverson and has drawn NBA comparisons to former Cavaliers point guard Andre Miller.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Versatile guard with an outstanding feel for the game. Plays with tremendous pace; excels at changing speeds. Equally comfortable scoring or facilitating; reads the game. Capable shooter from distance and mid-range.”

30. Denver Nuggets: UCLA SF Peyton Watson

Watson, 19, is 6-foot-8 and spent one season at UCLA, averaging less than 4 points per game in 32 games.

His scoring average was the lowest on any first-round pick in history. He also shot a meager 23 percent on 3-pointers, but the Nuggets were clearly impressed with his athleticism and 7-2 wingspan during workouts.

Second Round

31. Indiana Pacers (via Rockets): Gonzaga PG Andrew Nembhard

Nembhard, 22, is 6-foot-5 spent four seasons at Gonzaga, appearing in 32 games and averaging 11.8 points, 5.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds. He was named West Coast Conference Tournament Player of the Year.

32. Orlando Magic: Michigan G/F Caleb Houstan

Houstan, 19, is 6-foot-8 and spent one season at Michigan, averaging 10.1 points and 4.0 rebounds in 34 games. He led the Wolverines with 60 made 3-pointers.

33. Toronto Raptors (via Pistons): Arizona C Christian Koloko

Koloko, 21, is 7-foot-1 and spent three seasons at Arizona, averaging 12.6 points and 7.3 rebounds in 2021-22. He is a native of Cameroon and was considered a potential first-round-pick by some analysts.

34. Oklahoma City Thunder: Arkansas F Jaylin Williams

Williams, 19, is 6-foot-10 and averaged 10.9 points and 9.8 rebounds in 37 games this past season. He was named tov the All-SEC Defensive Team in the process.

35. Lakers (from Magic via Pacers): Michigan State SG Max Christie

Christie, 19, is 6-foot-5 and spent one season at Michigan State, averaging 9.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 35 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Kevin Martin and Evan Fournier.

NBA Draft Room compared Christie to CJ McCollum and wrote: “He’s got a great ability to get his own shot and can hit the pull up 3 off the dribble or the quick step back jumper from mid range.”

36. Pistons (via Trail Blazers): Italy G/F Gabriele Procida

Procida, 20, is 6-foot-8 and spent last season with Fortitudo Bologna. He is likely to be a draft-and-stash prospect as the Pistons monitor his development overseas.

37. Kings: G League Ignite SG Jaden Hardy

Hardy, 19, is 6-foot-4 and spent one season with the Ignite, averaging 19.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 24 games.

He has drawn comparisons to Pacers guard Buddy Hield and undoubtedly has good basketball bloodlines. His father Ramsey played at Tuskegee University and brother Amauri also played for the Ignite.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Shifty combo guard with a strong frame and good length. Terrific scoring instincts; excels at creating space off the dribble. Confident shooter with deep range and good mechanics. Has an advanced mid-range pull-up game.”

Hardy is being traded to the Mavericks, per multiple reports.

38. Spurs (via Lakers): Tennessee PG Kennedy Chandler 

Chandler, 19, is 6-foot-0 and spent one season at Tennessee, averaging 13.9 points, 4.7 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 34 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to former Heat guard Mario Chalmers.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Shifty point guard with good scoring ability. Thrives at changing speeds and getting to his spots. Shows terrific creativity as a finisher and passer. Disruptive defender who gets in the passing lanes.”

Chandler is being traded to the Grizzlies, located in the same state where he played collegiately.

39. Cavaliers (via Spurs): Senegal C Khalifa Diop

Diop is 7-foot-0, and per CBS Sports: “Great length, good instincts for rim protection. … Plays well and understands spacing in roll-and-lob sets. … One of the great value picks in this draft.” He is considered a draft-and-stash prospect.

40. Timberwolves (via Wizards): Nebraska SG Bryce McGowens

McGowens, 19, is 6-foot-6 and spent one season at Nebraska, averaging 16.8 points and 5.2 rebounds in 31 games.

He has drawn comparisons to current Mavericks guard Spencer Dinwiddie. His father Bobby played both football and basketball at South Carolina State.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Versatile and athletic wing with natural scoring ability. Excels at getting to the basket and drawing contact. Creates mismatches with his size and length. Has deep range on his jump shot.”

McGowens will reportedly be traded to the Hornets.

41. Pelicans: Ohio State PF E.J. Liddell

Liddell, 21, is 6-foot-7 and spent three seasons at Ohio State, averaging 19.4 points and 7.9 rebounds in 32 games in 2021-22.

His father Eric is a former offensive lineman at Illinois and E.J. has drawn NBA comparisons to Jazz forward Eric Paschell.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Modern forward with a versatile skill set. Has the strength and frame to play bigger than his height. Much-improved ball handler and shooter. High-energy defender with great instincts and timing.”

42. Knicks: Duke G Trevor Keels

Keels, 19, is 6-foot-5 and averaged 11.5 points and 3.4 rebounds in 36 games last season.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “Powerful combo guard with a versatile skill set. Strong feel for the game; makes smart decisions with the ball. Capable shooter and aggressive play.”

43. Clippers: Michigan PF Moussa Diabate

Diabate, 20, is 6-foot-11 and spent one season at Michigan, averaging 9.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in 32 games. 

44. Hawks: Toledo SG Ryan Rollins

Rollins is 6-foot-4 and considered a sleeper, “a terrific pick in the second round,” per ESPN’s Jay Bilas. Rollins is headed to the Warriors in a trade, per reports.

45. Hornets: Memphis F Josh Minott

Minott, 19, is 6-foot-8 and spent one season at Memphis, averaging 6.6 points in 33 games. He was a member of the AAC All-Freshman team.

46. Nuggets (via Pistons): France C Ismael Kamagate

Kamagate, 21, is 6-foot-11 and spent last season in Paris. He is a likely draft-and-stash project for the Nuggets.

47. Grizzlies (via Cavaliers): VCU G Vince Williams

Williams is 6-foot-6 and spent all four college seasons at VCU, averaging 14.4 points in 30 games in 2021-22.

48. Pacers: Baylor SF Kendall Brown

Brown, 19, is 6-foot-8 and spent one season at Baylor, where he averaged 9.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 34 games.

He has drawn NBA comparisons to Al-Farouq Aminu and Mo Harkless.

The official NBA Draft Guide on his strengths: “High-level athlete; quick and explosive off the floor. Tremendous speed in the open court. Shows flashes of court vision and feel as a passer. Rangy defender with solid all-around instincts.”

49. Cavaliers (from Kings via Bulls): USC PF Isaiah Mobley

Mobley, 22, is 6-foot-10 and the older brother of Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley, an All-Rookie selection and the No. 3 overall pick last season. Isaiah Mobley is a “stretch” power forward and known for his perimeter shooting.

50. Timberwolves (from Nuggets): Real Madrid SG Matteo Spagnolo

Spagnolo, 19, is 6-foot-4 and spent last season in Italy. He is likely a draft-and-stash prospect for the Timberwolves.

51. Hawks: UConn G/F Tyrese Martin

Martin, 23, is 6-foot-6 and averaged 13.6 points as a senior last season with UConn. He spent his first two seasons playing collegiately at Rhode Island.

52. Pelicans (via Jazz): Bosnia C/F Karlo Matkovic

Matkovic, 21, is 6-foot-10 and spent last season with Mega Basket. He is likely a draft-and-stash prospect for head of basketball operations David Griffin and the Pelicans.

53. Celtics: Alabama G JD Davison

Davison, 19, is 6-foot-3 and spent one season at Alabama, averaging 8.5 points in 33 games.

54. Wizards (via Mavericks): Unicaja C Yannick Nzosa

Nzosa, 18, is 6-foot-10 and a likely draft-and-stash prospect. While fairly raw skill-wise, scouts loved his size and athleticism entering the draft.

55. Warriors: Brazil F Gui Santos

Santos, 20, is 6-foot-8 and is likely to remain overseas as the reigning champions keep an eye on his development and control his NBA rights.

56. Cavaliers (via Heat): Australia G/F Luke Travers

Travers, 20, is 6-foot-7 and spent last season with the NBL’s Perth Wildcats, averaging 7.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists. He is likely another draft-and-stash prospect.

59. Trail Blazers (via Grizzlies): Colorado F Jabari Walker

Walker, 20, is 6-foot-6 and spent two seasons at Colorado, averaging 14.6 points and 9.0 rebounds in 30 games in 2021-22.

60. Pacers (via Suns): France G Huggo Besson

Besson, , is 6-foot-6 and spent last season with the New Zealand Breakers on the Australian NBL, averaging 13.9 points and 3.9 rebounds in 25 games.
