Cavaliers
The Cavaliers know they haven’t lived up to expectations, but they’re still not ready to panic.
Despite a 15-14 start and some internal frustration, Cleveland has shown no real appetite to engage in trade talks involving Darius Garland or Jarrett Allen, both of whom have drawn interest from multiple teams, sources told Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.
Injuries have been a major factor, and there remains optimism inside the organization that internal growth and better health can steady things.
The Cavs feel urgency, sure, but the belief is this roster still deserves more time before major decisions are made.
Nets
Two Brooklyn names continue to circulate. Michael Porter Jr. is playing the best basketball of his career and is expected to attract attention from contenders looking for scoring punch, per Siegel.
Cam Thomas is a different case. He holds veto power, is sidelined again with a hamstring issue, and interest has been limited. Still, Brooklyn may be able to squeeze out a couple of second-rounders for Thomas as a short-term rental.
Bucks
Milwaukee’s slow start hasn’t changed its mindset, Siegel writes, echoing multiple similar reports.
The Bucks are still looking for win-now help, with some around the league wondering if Myles Turner could ever come into play after signing his new deal.
That said, a move involving Kyle Kuzma remains more realistic. Wings are scarce, Kuzma has term left, and Milwaukee is clearly exploring ways to reshape the roster without blowing it up.

I was thinking Cam Thomas for Cavs lately.. off the bench situation… a walking bucket.. we have too many 1 dimensional guys who don’t create their own coming off the bench.. We need alleviation of shot creation.. Our offense is dependent heavily on team flow.. we should mix that up a little more.. we are always trying to score off the move.. but rarely in a solid two footed stabilized jump shooting way.. Thomas is a two footed creator, jump shooter.. We have enough off the curl guys.. we need guys who can put on the floor and get where they need to go effectively, outside DG and Mitch. Most our other guys are system dependent. Playoffs have a lot of broken plays, require individual hunger and talent.. doesn’t have to be everybody, we just need more guys like that, Go to scorers.
