Iman Shumpert calls LeBron James the NBA’s version of ChatGPT

Iman Shumpert might’ve found the cleanest way yet to describe Lakers super-duper star LeBron James.

Speaking on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Shumpert said LeBron is essentially “ChatGPT” in human form when it comes to basketball knowledge.

“You can ask him anything, he knows,” Shumpert said of his former Cavaliers teammate. “Coaches, assistants, player development. Most athletes better than you give you one pointer.

“If you can’t do it, give it to me. Bron gives you the learning curve.”

It tracks. LeBron’s value has never been limited to what shows up in the box score. Teammates have long talked about how he teaches, explains, and elevates the people around him.

Call it basketball IQ. Call it leadership.

Shumpert just gave it a 2026 name.
