Trae Young is set to suit up for the Washington Wizards for the first time.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the four-time All-Star will make his team debut Thursday night against the Utah Jazz.

Young was acquired on Jan. 9 but has yet to play for Washington because of right knee and quad issues. He last appeared in a game Dec. 27 while still with the Atlanta Hawks.

The 27-year-old sprained the medial collateral ligament in his right knee on Oct. 29, returned briefly in mid-December, then was shut down again with a quad contusion.

In 10 games this season, Young is averaging 19.3 points and 8.9 assists in 28.0 minutes — all career lows across the board. For his career, he owns averages of 25.2 points and 9.8 assists in 493 regular-season appearances.

Given the extended layoff, a minutes restriction is expected.

Washington begins a four-game road trip Sunday in New Orleans.
