The Cavaliers are adding frontcourt depth to the deep reserve.

Per HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, the Cavs agreed to a two-way contract with big man Olivier Sarr. To make room, they are waiving guard Darius Brown II.

Sarr, a 7-footer, previously spent parts of three seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2021-24, averaging 4.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in limited action. He later landed in the G League and was briefly on the Toronto Raptors training camp roster last fall before being waived.

He has since been playing for Raptors 905, averaging 11.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 39 games.

Brown’s stay with Cleveland proved brief. He signed a two-way contract just last week and appears headed back to the Cavs’ G League affiliate, the Cleveland Charge, where he has played most of the season.
