The Warriors are still waiting on Stephen Curry. And that wait isn’t ending anytime soon.

Curry hasn’t played since Jan. 30 and is expected to miss at least 10 more days as he continues recovering from his knee injury. Without Curry — and with Jimmy Butler also sidelined — the Warriors’ season has begun to stall a bit.

Golden State dropped back-to-back games to the Jazz and Bulls, leaving the team fighting just to stay afloat in the Western Conference standings.

Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area suggested the realistic goal now may simply be securing the No. 8 seed. That would at least give the Warriors a more manageable path through the play-in tournament.

Of course, there’s another reason Golden State would love to get Curry back sooner rather than later.

New arrival Kristaps Porzingis is still waiting to share the floor with the two-time MVP.

“I want to play with Steph,” Porzingis said earlier this week.

The Warriors do, too.
