Former Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman is making plenty of noise overseas.
Osman was named EuroLeague Round 31 MVP after leading Panathinaikos B.C. to a 92-88 win over BC Žalgiris. The performance produced a career-high performance index rating of 36, the best of his 163-game EuroLeague career.
Osman finished with 24 points while barely missing a shot. He went five-for-five on two-pointers, hit both of his attempts from three and knocked down eight of 10 free throws.
He also contributed five rebounds, three assists and two steals while drawing six fouls.
It marked Osman’s second Round MVP honor this season. Panathinaikos has now had three different players claim the award this year, joining Kendrick Nunn and Kostas Sloukas.
Osman last appeared in the NBA during the 2023-24 season with the Spurs after spending several years with Cleveland.
