Former NBA guard Kennedy Chandler has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Jazz, per Shams Charania of ESPN.
Chandler, the No. 38 pick in 2022, last appeared in the league with Memphis before spending the past couple of seasons in the G League.
He’s been productive there. Chandler averaged 17.3 points and 9.7 assists in 36 games this season for the Delaware Blue Coats, showing he can still run a team and create offense.
Utah’s roster situation makes this one interesting. The Jazz are at the 15-man limit, but with multiple injuries and two expiring 10-day deals, there’s flexibility to make it work.
If needed, they could also qualify for a hardship exception depending on the status of injured players.
