NBA Draft

The 2026 NBA Draft is starting to take shape, and the reviews are strong.

UNC forward Caleb Wilson declared on Friday, and he’s widely viewed as a potential top-five pick in what many around the league consider a deep class.

That lines up with what we’re seeing across the standings.

More than a few teams near the bottom — hello, Brooklyn — aren’t exactly in a rush to win right now. And with good reason. This draft is viewed as one that could deliver impact players throughout the entire lottery.

In other words, the race is on. Just maybe not the kind teams admit publicly.

Warriors

The Warriors are still waiting on clarity with Stephen Curry.

He’s expected to be reevaluated next week as he works his way back from a knee issue.

Golden State has managed to stay afloat, but there’s no real ceiling without Curry at full strength. So this next update carries some weight, especially with the postseason just a few weeks away.

Bulls

The Bulls are out of the postseason picture. Now it’s about what’s next.

Second-year forward Matas Buzelis made it clear he’s still locked in, even with nine games remaining.

“We’re not just going to mess around these next few games,” Buzelis said, via Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times. “We’re going to try to learn.”

There are also questions looming about coach Billy Donovan and the direction of the franchise.

But the goals today are evident — finish strong, build habits, see what sticks.
