NBA reveals full schedule for Cavs-Raptors vs. Pistons-Magic

The Cavaliers and Raptors are playing a Game 7 on Sunday. The same is true of the Pistons and Magic. Two of those four teams will eventually play each other.

Actually, we know Game 1 of that second-round series is Tuesday. We just don’t know where or who’s playing.

If the Pistons beat the Magic (3:30 p.m., ABC), Game 1 of the second round is in Detroit — regardless of what happens between the Cavs and Raptors (7:30 p.m., NBC/Peacock).

That’s because the Pistons are the top seed. The Cavs are No. 4, Raptors No. 5, and Magic No. 8. So no matter what happens after this, the Magic wouldn’t have homecourt in any round.

Anyway, back to the schedule. Here are all the second-round dates, as revealed by the NBA (all times Eastern):

  • Game 1, Tuesday, May 5, Peacock/NBCSN, 7 p.m.
  • Game 2, Thursday, May 7, Prime, 7 p.m.
  • Game 3, Saturday, May 9, NBC/Peacock, 3 p.m.
  • Game 4, Monday, May 11, NBC/Peacock, 8 p.m.
  • Game 5, Wednesday, May 13, TBD*
  • Game 6, Friday, May 15, TBD*
  • Game 7, Sunday, May 17, TBD*
  • (* – if necessary)

So, yes, go ahead and plan your evenings around those times. All you need to know now is who is playing. You’ll have your answer Sunday by about 10 p.m. EST.
