LeBron James shares Cavs throwback on Instagram story

With speculation about his future continuing to swirl, LeBron James gave Cavaliers fans something to talk about Thursday.

James shared a throwback Cavs clip to his Instagram story, featuring a highlight from Cleveland’s 2016 NBA Finals championship run against the Golden State Warriors.

His accompanying caption was simple and enthusiastic: “What a team man!!!!”

Naturally, the post quickly made the rounds on social media.

Does it mean James is planning a return to Cleveland? Probably not. At least, not by itself.

But it comes at a time when questions about James’ future with the Los Angeles Lakers continue to generate headlines. Recent reports have suggested James is waiting to hear the Lakers’ offseason plans before making any decisions on next season.

Meanwhile, the Cavs continue to be mentioned as a potential landing spot should the four-time MVP decide to leave Los Angeles.

Either way, all James officially did was celebrate one of the greatest teams in Cavs history.

Still, in Cleveland, that’s enough to get people talking.
