The Giannis Antetokounmpo speculation isn’t going away.
Now, another report has linked Cavaliers big man Evan Mobley to the conversation.
According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Bucks would have interest in acquiring Mobley as part of any potential trade package if Milwaukee were ever to move Antetokounmpo.

To be clear, there has been no indication that the Cavs have discussed trading Mobley, nor is there any indication a Giannis deal is imminent.
But Fischer’s report does offer insight into the type of centerpiece Milwaukee would likely seek if it ever chooses to move its franchise cornerstone.
And it does make sense.
Mobley is just 25 years old, has already been an All-Star, and is one of the league’s premier defenders. Players with that combination of age, talent and long-term upside are exactly what rebuilding teams covet.
The challenge, of course, is that Mobley is also precisely the type of player Cleveland would be reluctant to surrender.
The Cavs have built around a core of Mobley, Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen and now James Harden, and Mobley remains arguably the most difficult piece of that group to replace.
Still, whenever Giannis rumors surface, every team with championship aspirations gets dragged into the discussion.
That said, this appears to be little more than an interesting league-wide talking point.
But it’s certainly one Cavs and Bucks fans will notice.
