Despite ongoing speculation linking the Celtics to potential superstar trade scenarios, there appears to be little evidence that they want to move Jaylen Brown.
As highlighted by Brady Farkas of Roundtable, NBA insider Sam Amick of The Athletic recently addressed Brown’s situation while appearing on CLNS Media.

According to Amick, there have been no indications that the Celtics are putting Brown on the trade market.
“There’s no signs that they’re putting Jaylen out there at all,” Amick said.
The comments are notable because Brown’s name has occasionally surfaced in discussions involving Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, should Milwaukee ultimately decide to explore trade options.
However, Amick’s reporting suggests Boston remains committed to its longtime All-Star.
That stance would make sense.
The Celtics won 56 games this season despite receiving only limited action from Jayson Tatum, who appeared in just 16 contests. Brown responded by delivering one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists while earning All-NBA honors.

The 29-year-old has spent his entire NBA career in Boston and remains one of the franchise’s foundational pieces. He was named Finals MVP during the Celtics’ 2024 championship run and finished sixth in MVP voting this past season.
Of course, things can change quickly in the NBA, especially when a player of Antetokounmpo’s caliber is involved.
But based on Amick’s comments, the Celtics don’t appear to be operating as a team eager to break apart its core.
Instead, Boston may be focused on getting healthy, making a few tweaks around the edges and taking another shot with a group that has already proven capable of competing at the highest level.
As Farkas noted, that will likely be welcome news for Celtics fans who would prefer to see Brown remain exactly where he is.
