Lakers
Luka Doncic is giving the Lakers’ offseason a thumbs up.
According to Dan Woike of The Athletic, Doncic is “excited” about Los Angeles’ roster moves, particularly the decision to re-sign Austin Reaves and acquire rim-protecting center Walker Kessler in a sign-and-trade with the Jazz.
Those additions addressed two of the biggest needs Doncic hoped the Lakers would tackle this summer as they reshape the roster following LeBron James‘ departure.
The Lakers have remained in regular contact with Doncic and his representatives while the All-NBA guard spends the offseason in Europe. Los Angeles is still looking to add another wing and backup center, with veterans such as Jonas Valanciunas and Kevon Looney among the names linked to the club.
International
Former Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman is headed home.
According to Sportando, Osman has agreed to join Turkish powerhouse Anadolu Efes after spending the past two seasons with Panathinaikos in Greece.
The move marks a return to the organization where Osman began his professional career before making the jump to the NBA in 2017.
The 30-year-old averaged 12.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in EuroLeague play last season.
Bucks
The Bucks have reached a two-way agreement with guard Kam Jones, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Jones became a free agent after being waived by the Bulls earlier this week. Originally selected with the 38th overall pick in the 2025 draft, he appeared in 37 games as a rookie, averaging 3.2 assists while battling injuries and inconsistent shooting.
The signing is something of a homecoming for Jones, who starred at Marquette before entering the NBA.
Milwaukee is expected to have all three of its two-way spots filled once Jones’ deal and an agreement with undrafted rookie Rafael Castro become official.
