The Mavericks have waived point guard Facundo Campazzo, opening a roster spot to sign veteran point guard Kemba Walker, as we relayed here.
Campazzo, 31, is 5-foot-10 and signed with Dallas just ahead of the start of the season. He has appeared in just eight games, playing limited minutes.
Before that, he spent two seasons with the Nuggets, appearing in 65 games in each. Last season, he averaged 5.2 points and 3.4 assists, though he shot just 36 percent from the field. His entire pro career prior to that had been spent in Argentina or Spain.

He once was a teammate of Mavs star guard/forward Luka Doncic, when the two were with Real Madrid early in Doncic’s career.
Walker, 32, was waived by the Pistons following an offseason trade with the Knicks.
Mavs owner Mark Cuban confirmed the Walker signing on Monday. You can read that full post here.
