Booker, 26, suffered in the injury in the Christmas Day overtime road loss to the Nuggets, playing just four minutes. He scored 58 points in a win over the Pelicans in his last full game.
Booker is averaging a career-high 27.1 points, shooting 48 percent from the field, to go along with 5.6 assists and 4.6 rebounds in 29 games.
The Suns (20-15) sit in second place in the Pacific Division entering Wednesday night. It will undoubtedly be a tougher road without their leading scorer, who may not return until early February, based on the timeline offered by the team.
